The user can’t unlock

Checklist for what you as an administrator can do if the user has trouble unlocking.

  1. Make sure the user has a valid key.

    a. Go to Users and press the user.

    b. Under Keys, you can see the user’s keys and their validity period.

    c. Make sure the user has at least one valid key for the door, gate, or similar they are trying to unlock.

  2. Does the key have any restrictions? Check if there’s a schedule on the key that limits access.

    a. Go to Keys and press the key the user has.

    b. Under Schedule, you’ll see if there is a schedule for when the key can be used.

    💡 If there is a schedule, press View to see the days and times the key can be used. Has the user tried to unlock outside of these times?

  3. If the user has a valid key and there are no restrictions, follow the steps in:

    👉 The lock is not displayed in the app

    👉 Error message when unlocking

    👉 The app shows a successful unlock but the door doesn't open
