PDL - Replacing the circuit board

Remove the battery from the lock case.

Unscrew and remove the lock case from the door.

Carefully lift out the old circuit board as shown in the image below. Be very careful and lift the circuit board straight up to release it from its connector to the lock case.

Install the new circuit board and apply pressure with your finger above the black connector.

Reinstall the lock and insert the battery again. ❗️If the lock has already been installed and used, follow the instructions from step 6 onwards.

Use the “Replace device” function (link) in the web portal to link the new circuit board to the lock (door). Any keys will be updated automatically when using this function.

💡If a Parakey NFC sticker is placed by the door, it does not need to be replaced but will automatically be reprogrammed to the new hardware.
