Important - Choose the correct battery
Parakey PDL uses a lithium battery (14500 AA, 3.6V), which should not be confused with the traditional 1.5V AA battery that can be bought in the grocery store. It is recommended to order batteries directly from Parakey to ensure the correct battery.
❗️ Please note that the battery estimation shown in the Parakey Web Portal is based on the specific battery Saft LS 14500 (for PDL). Using batteries from other manufacturers may affect the estimation and performance.
How to replace the battery
Make sure the hook bolt is retracted.
Detach the battery cover with a flat screwdriver.
Remove the old battery and insert the new one. Make sure that the positive pole is facing the battery cover.
Press and hold the red button while screwing the battery cover back on. Continue pressing the red button until you hear that the locks motor starts running to calibrate the lock.
