❗️This setting can be adjusted on the following Parakey devices: Slim, Door Handle, Cylinder, and requires software version 2.13.0 or later.
By default, a lock remains in an unlocked state for 7 seconds before locking automatically when you unlock it through the Parakey app. If you prefer to lock manually via the app instead, you can easily change this in the lock’s settings.
Manual locking is especially useful, for example, in conference rooms, when you don’t want the door to lock as soon as it closes.
Go to Locks and press the lock you want to change.
Under Settings, in the Installation section, press Edit.
Under Lock mode, choose whether the lock should be set to automatic* or manual. *Here, you can also adjust the desired unlock duration.
Press Save.
