Why do you need to set the time on a device?
For an unlock to be completed, the Parakey device needs to have the same time setting as the app/phone used to unlock.
If the Parakey device is out of sync, users will receive an error message when attempting to unlock. An owner, administrator, or installer will then need to set the time via the Parakey app for the function to return to normal.
How do you set the time on a device?
In the app’s Unlock view, press the three dots next to the lock’s name.
Go to Tools, then press Set time and follow the instructions in the app.
