On Android 12 and above, access to nearby devices is required to search for and unlock locks via Bluetooth. On Android 6–11, the Parakey app needs access to location instead in order to unlock. Location also needs to be turned on in Android for Parakey to function properly. Parakey does not use GPS and does not store the user's location.
Note: Appearance and wording may vary depending on your device manufacturer.

Troubleshooting
If access to nearby devices or location is granted, and location is turned on in Android, but it still doesn’t work — try restarting your phone.
If you have a newer Huawei phone (P40 or later), Google Location Services are not available on your device. You’ll need to download the Parakey app from the Huawei AppGallery.
