❗️This setting is available for the following Parakey devices: Slim, Door Handle, and Cylinder, and requires software version 2.13.0 or later.
By default, a lock remains unlocked for 7 seconds before locking automatically when you unlock it via the Parakey app. If you instead want the lock to be locked manually via the app, you can easily change this in the lock’s settings.
Manual locking is especially useful in, for example, meeting rooms where you don’t want the door to lock as soon as it closes.
Go to Locks and press the lock you want to change.
Under Settings, in the Installation section, press Edit.
Under Lock mode, choose whether the lock should lock automatically* or manually.
*Here you can also set the desired unlock duration.
Press Save.
