Manage place categories

Create custom place categories for your organization and/or hide standard categories that don’t apply to your business.

What are place categories used for?

Place categories are used to sort different types of places such as Gym, Property, Parking, Coworking, Office, etc. This makes it easy to, for example, filter out all offices within an organization or property.


​💡 If you have admin rights at the organization level, you can create custom place categories and choose which ones should be available for places in your organization.

Create custom place categories

  1. Go to your organization, then to Settings.

  2. Press Place categories.

  3. Press Create.

  4. Name the new category.

  5. Press the "language icon" to add translations (Swedish/English).

  6. Then press Create. The new category now appears in the list of place categories.

Hide standard categories that don’t apply to your organization

There are a number of standard categories, and some may not suit any of your places. By unchecking the box next to a category, you remove it from the list of available categories for places in your organization.
