How do multiple accounts work?
❗️Please note that this feature is currently being tested and is not yet available to all users, but it will be rolled out shortly.
💡 In Parakey, each account is linked to a unique email address. This means you can have multiple accounts if you have been invited using different email addresses.
Log in with multiple accounts in the Parakey app to avoid switching accounts by logging in and out.
When you are logged in to multiple accounts, Parakey automatically merges your keys. The app works just as usual - both the Unlock and Places tabs show content from all your accounts.
How do I add more accounts?
Go to Settings and press Accounts.
Then press the plus icon (+) in the top right corner.
Enter the login details for the account you want to add and complete the login flow.
💡 If you are already logged in to the app and open an invitation link for a new account (that has not previously been registered with Parakey), the app will automatically ask if you want to add the account.
An invitation link only works the first time it is used and cannot be reused.
Multiple accounts with access to the same lock
If a lock or place exists on multiple accounts, the app will ask you to choose which account should be used for the current action.
How do I manage my accounts?
You can change passwords and log out individual accounts under Settings and Accounts.
❗️If you log in with the same account on another device, you will automatically be logged out from the first device for security reasons.
