Using the Low Power Adapter with Parakey Cylinder

Low Power Adapter for Parakey Cylinder

Battery replacement tool

9V battery
​

Remove the logo cover from the Parakey Cylinder using a suction cup.
​
❗️Do not use a screwdriver.
​

Insert the 9V battery into the adapter.
​

Place the adapter against the cylinder. Make sure the pins on the cylinder align with the pins on the adapter. When you hear a buzzing sound, the cylinder is powered.

💡 Please note that the pin layout differs between indoor and outdoor cylinders.
​
💡 Indoor version: Use the pins closest to the center on the side with four pins.
​

💡 Outdoor version: Use the pins on the side with two pins.
​

Keep the adapter pressed against the cylinder. Open the Parakey app, press the three dots next to the lock's name, then press Replace batteries.

Complete the first step: Unlock the locking pins.
​
❗️Keep the adapter pressed against the cylinder until the locking pins are unlocked.
​

Continue following the instructions in the app to complete the battery replacement.
​

Reattach the logo cover once the battery replacement is complete.
