Important - Choose the correct battery
Parakey PDL uses a lithium-ion battery (14500 AA, 3.6V), which should not be confused with the traditional 1.5V AA battery that can be bought in the grocery store. It is recommended to order batteries directly from Parakey to ensure the correct battery.
How to change the battery
Make sure the hook bolt is retracted.
Detach the battery cover with a flat screwdriver.
Remove the old battery and insert the new one. Make sure that the positive pole is facing the battery cover.
Press and hold the red button while screwing the battery cover back on. Continue pressing the red button until you hear that the locks motor starts running to calibrate the lock.
