Find the access events in the web portal
Open the relevant site in the Parakey Web Portal.
Go to Event logs.
Select logs for key fobs and access cards, and specify the time period you want to see.
Open a log to view details of the access event.
You can distinguish unlocks made with a key fob or access card from mobile unlocks.
Why is the most recent access event not visible?
Parakey Cylinder and Parakey Door Handle do not have their own internet connection. When someone unlocks with a key fob, the access log is stored in the lock.
Each time someone unlocks with their phone, logs are collected automatically in the background and sent to the cloud service. All users with mobile access to the lock help with this. This means that the most recent key fob access event may not appear in the web portal straight away.
Currently, approximately 5–10 key fob access logs are normally collected per mobile unlock. This is a temporary limitation. A future software update is planned to allow more logs to be collected at a time.
Collect the entire pending history
If you need all pending access logs, an administrator can use Collect logs in the app while at the relevant lock.
💡 Logs are collected from each lock individually. Unlocking the entrance with your phone does not collect key fob access events that are still stored in the storage room’s lock.
