A Parakey Slim is already installed, and the installation has been completed via the Parakey app.

Access (key) to the device to which the Range Extender will be connected, along with administrative privileges (e.g., "Administrator" or "Installer").

Twisted pair four-wire cable.
​

The recommended maximum cable length between the Slim and Range Extender is 100 meters.

Disconnect the power supply to the Parakey Slim and keep it disconnected until a later step in the installation.

Open the lids on both the Slim and the Range Extender, then switch and ensure the switches labeled "SW1" are moved toward the screw terminals as shown in the image below.

Close the lids of both the Slim and the Range Extender.

Position the Parakey Range Extender in the desired location and prepare the cable connection between the Range Extender and the Slim unit.

Connect one twisted cable pair between each device’s OSDP (A) terminal and respective OSDP (B) terminal. In other words, connect A to A and B to B. Then connect the + and - terminals. See the image below.

Turn on the power supply, stand as close to the Parakey Slim as possible and open the Parakey app. Tap "Add Range Extender," and follow the instructions in the app.

Complete the installation by tapping on the device from the "Unlock" view in the Parakey app.
