Tip - Don’t lose the button
The red button can be easy to lose. A good tip is to place tape over the button to keep it in place when removing the faceplate.
Instructions
Ensure that the battery is not inserted.
Unscrew the screws holding the faceplate in place.
Remove the faceplate.
Remove the auxiliary bolt, rotate it 180 degrees, and reinsert it. NOTE: Make sure the bolt hooks into the catch marked in red in the image below.
Rotate the latchbolt 180 degrees.
Reinstall the faceplate. NOTE: Do not tighten the screws too much or too loosely. Overtightened screws may cause the electric motor inside the lock case to work harder, while screws that are too loosely tightened may result in play in the battery compartment and prevent the lock from receiving power.
