Create a lock schedule

With a schedule, you can keep a door unlocked during specific days and times.

Written by Cecilia Rubinstein

❗️Scheduled unlocks are currently supported on Parakey Control Unit (requires version 3.8.8 or later) and Parakey Slim (requires version 2.12.3 or later).

  1. Go to Schedules and press Create.

  2. Name the schedule, select the time zone, and choose to create a schedule for scheduled unlocks.

❗️The time zone must match the time zone of the device(s) the schedule will be applied to.

  3. Press Next.

  4. Select the days and times when locks with this schedule should remain unlocked. Press Add.

💡 You can add more time intervals on one or multiple days by repeating this step.

💡 You can also edit the time intervals for each day by pressing Show.

  5. Press Next.

  6. Add any exceptions to the schedule.

    1. Select a date and press Add.

    2. Once you’ve added an exception date, you can also set specific times for that day – for instance, if the door should remain unlocked for a shorter period than usual. These times will override the regular schedule for that day.

💡 If no time is specified, the door will remain locked for the entire exception day.

💡 You can add multiple exception dates and times.

  7. Press Create.

  8. Apply the schedule to one or multiple locks.
