I have not received any login credentials

Follow these steps if you haven’t received your invitation email.

To log in to the Parakey app, you must have been invited to a place where Parakey is used. You cannot create an account yourself – instead, contact the person responsible for the location and ask them to invite you.

Once you’ve been invited, you’ll be able to log in with your Parakey account.

If you haven’t received any invitation email

  1. Have a look in your Spam folder to make sure that the invitation email hasn't been identified as spam by mistake.

  2. Wait a few minutes. If you’ve just been invited, it might take a little while before the email arrives – usually just a few minutes.

If you still can’t find your invitation

  1. Download the Parakey app from your app store.

  2. Open the Parakey app

  3. Press Need help to sign in?

  4. Then press Missing sign in credentials and enter your email address.

You’ll receive an email with instructions on how to choose a password and get started with Parakey. If you still haven’t received an email after a few minutes, try the same steps again and a simplified text version of the email will then be sent instead.

The email says my account doesn’t exist

In that case, contact the person responsible at the place where you want to unlock with your phone.

  1. Ask them to check that they entered the correct email address. Sometimes, a small typo can happen when sending invitations.

  2. Ask them to send a new invitation. They can also resend the invitation via the Parakey Web Portal, in case something went wrong with the first one.

For privacy and security reasons, Parakey is unfortunately not able to send invitations – so please reach out to the person responsible at the place directly.
