What do the different battery modes mean?
“Faster unlocking”
Provides faster unlocking
Suitable for doors with high traffic or where quick response is important
Results in shorter battery life
“Longer battery life”
Provides longer battery life
Unlocking takes slightly longer
Suitable for environments where the lock is used less frequently
How to change battery mode for a lock
Go to Locks and press the lock you want to change the battery mode for.
Under Battery saving & performance, press Edit.
Select Faster unlocking or Longer battery life.
Press Save. The changes will take effect the next time the lock is unlocked.
How to change battery mode for multiple locks
Go to Locks and select the locks you want to update in the list.
Press Update battery mode in the top menu.
Select Faster unlocking or Longer battery life.
Confirm by pressing Update battery mode.
