Why am I being logged out of the app?

Here's why you may have been logged out of the Parakey App and what you can do about it.

You can only be logged in on one phone at a time

For security reasons, you can only be logged into one phone at a time. If you're signed in on one device and then log in on a new one, you'll automatically be logged out from the first.

You need to log in at least once a year

As part of our security practices, you must log in to the app at least once every 12 months. If you don’t, you’ll automatically be logged out and need to log in again.

You've used "Log out everywhere" in the Parakey Web Portal

Under Logged-in devices in your account settings in Parakey Web Portal, there's a feature called "Log out everywhere". If you've used it, you'll be logged out from all devices where you were signed in.

❗️The "Log out everywhere" feature only applies to the Parakey App. Third-party apps integrated with Parakey that allow you to unlock Parakey devices are not affected.
