Nexudus Troubleshooting Guide

Use this guide if you’re experiencing issues with the Nexudus integration.

Key not visible in Nexudus portal

If a key isn’t appearing in the Nexudus portal, it may be due to API usage not being enabled for that specific key.

Access not sent to users

Access is sent either 15 minutes before a booking starts or the night before a new pass becomes valid. If access isn’t sent to a user with an active booking, it may be due to:

  • Resources in Nexudus (e.g., rooms or passes)* needing to be linked to mobile keys in Parakey. This step is essential for the integration to manage access and automatically send keys to users.

*Created separately in Nexudus

  • The booking was made before the integration was activated. If you have existing users or bookings, we recommend contacting Nexudus for instructions on how to transfer these.

  • You have added a key with time restrictions in Nexudus. Make sure the keys you use in Nexudus do not have a start or end date.

Linking Nexudus resources to Parakey-keys

  1. Follow steps 1-4 under In Nexudus in the guide on Connecting Nexudus and Parakey.

  2. Scroll down to link your Nexudus resources to keys in Parakey. Finally, press Save.
