User has forgotten their password

If a user has forgotten their password, they need to choose a new one. The easiest way is by pressing “Need help to sign in?” in the app.

Parakey cannot see users' passwords. If a user has forgotten their password, they must reset it by following the steps in the article “I have forgotten my password” (link). The user will then receive an email with instructions on how to choose a new password.

As an administrator, you can assist the user by requesting a password reset via the web portal. The user will then receive the above-mentioned email.

  1. Go to Users and press the user.

  2. Press Options and then Request password reset.

  3. Press Confirm.
