Parakey uses conventional HTTP response codes to indicate the success or failure of an API request. In general, codes in the 2xx range indicate success and codes in the 4xx range indicate an error that failed given the information provided (e.g., required parameters). Codes in the 5xx range indicate an error with Parakey's servers.
To create a robust system we recommend that you implement a retry mechanism that retires all failed requests with a cool down. Please do not try more than once every minute and not more than 10 times for each request. Abuse of this might lead to your API key being temporarily suspended, if the abuse continues you will be blocked.
