How do I create an account?

You can not create an account yourself, instead, you must be invited to a Parakey-connected place. Once you have been invited, you will receive an invitation email and instructions on how to get started. We who work at Parakey can never send you an invitation, you have to talk to the company where you want to get access and they will help you get started.

I can't sign in

  1. Is this your first time signing in?
    - Sign in by opening the invitation email on your phone and pressing the button: "Press here to get started".
    - If you don't have the possibility to open the invitation email on your phone, you can also sign in using the invitation code found in the invitation email you received.

  2. Have you entered the correct email and password?
    - Verify that you have correctly entered your email and password
    - Or press "Forgot password?" to reset your password

  3. Do you have the latest app version?
    - Make sure you have the latest version of the Parakey app. If you get an error message saying your app is too old, update your app to continue.

  4. Do you have internet/wifi?
    - In order to sign in, you need to be connected to the internet. Please make sure you have either mobile data or wifi turned on in your phones settings.

I haven't received my invitation

  1. Have a look in your Spam folder to make sure that the invitation email hasn't been identified as spam by mistake.

  2. If you still can't find the email, please contact the person or place that invited you to make sure they entered the correct email address. People are human and sometimes a spelling mistake occurs.

  3. Wait a few minutes, even if emails are digital. Sometimes it can take a few minutes before the mail arrives.

If you still can not find the invitation, contact the person or place you were invited by and ask them to "resend" your invitation.

I have forgotten my password

If you have forgotten your password you can reset your password by pressing the "Forgot password?" button on the sign in screen in the Parakey app. You will shortly receive an email with instructions on how you reset your password.
